Surveillance Operator

The surveillance operator, as the frontline operator of operations, is responsible for providing monitoring, analysis, and protection of all revenue-generating activity within the boundaries of the company. To ensure that any violations of the law, internal procedures, or illicit and illegal activities are logged and reported to the executives, surveillance is conducted in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • A diploma in college is the minimum educational requirement or its equivalent.
  • Basic Mathematics – Year 12 equivalent.
  • Must be attentive and observant.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Must be computer-literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintains surveillance of patrons and team members alike to be aware of any potential problems that may arise.
  • Monitor and detect illegal activities, cheating, scams, collusion, procedural violations, and other irregularities via the surveillance system and report them to the immediate executive.
  • Must stay alert and vigilant and pay close attention while conducting monitoring and review.
  • Maintain a high standard of efficiency in all matters relating to written work or extraneous duties, as may be directed.
  • Maintain a professional liaison between surveillance and other casino departments.
  • Resolves the dispute by reviewing the footage as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters relating to equipment, procedures, and information.
  • Develop the skills and knowledge to efficiently and effectively discharge duties through training.
  • Keep yourself updated on all information and changes within the department and the entire D’Heights Casino.
