Gaming Activity Agent / Internal Security

Demonstrates skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations and maintain customer goodwill.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar position.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members in English.
  • At least college level, with a bachelor’s degree in criminology, business management, or any related field is a plus.
  • Advanced training or certification in safety and security is an advantage.
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments and law enforcement.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides excellent guest service.
  • Responsible for the protection and safety of company assets, patrons, and associates.
  • Responsible for the enforcement of gaming rules and regulations.
  • Observe and report procedural violations and illegal activity.
  • Protects the assets and personnel by escorting and transporting monies, papers, chips, and other valuable assets; escorting repair and maintenance personnel into secured areas of the casino; assisting with Bill Acceptor problems; pulling and replacing drop boxes; and refilling chip supplies at gaming tables.
  • Maintains adherence to specified casino restrictions, safety, and access policies, identifying security and safety risks, reporting risks, discouraging panhandling, loitering, and sleeping on casino property, identifying underage visitors, requesting that they vacate the casino, and physically subduing disruptive guests if necessary, according to established procedures.
  • Ensures the integrity of gambling, banking, the counting room, and cash handling procedures.
  • Ensures the safety of guests and employees during casino operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the AGAM.
